The Skinny

The Dr. Brown's Carryall is a budget-friendly pump bag for mothers on the go who need a bag that won't break the bank. This liquid repellent bag is roomy enough to fit your pump and supplies, a 15-inch laptop, and your personal supplies making it the only bag you need when pumping. The Carryall has several pockets to keep your items organized on the outside. It also has cross shoulder straps as well as handles giving you two carrying options. This bag easily wipes clean and the hardware is higher quality than you'd expect for an inexpensive bag. The Carryall is less expensive than most which is good for your wallet, but this often means slightly lower quality and a simple appearance. The Carryall could also use more internal storage as the main compartment is just one big space without dividers. While better organization would be nice, this budget bag is a winner that holds what you need to get the job done and is one we'd recommend to friends on a budget.

Performance Comparison

The side pocket on the Carryall allows you to use your pump without taking it out of the bag.
The interior of the Carryall has a few pockets to help you stay organized.

Ease of Use

The Carryall is an easy to use bag with few intricacies or features to give you problems. The pump can be used in the bag and the side pockets give easy access for connecting tubes and containers. It would be nice if the bag had more dividers inside for better organization. There is a chance you'll lose smaller items into the void as they can get lodged under the pump or other larger items. It's probably best to put personal items like smartphone and keys in the few pockets to avoid frustration.

The bottom of the Carryall is flat and unadorned like other less expensive options.
The hardware on the Carryall is basic and functional without flash or high-end attachments.

Quality

For a less expensive bag, this option appears to be better quality than the price would indicate. The bag is well-designed and the materials come together nicely with proper attention to details like stitching and zipper placement. The materials feel durable and we didn't experience any problems with closures or handles.

The Carryall is a nice sized bag with a basic design that holds pumping and work supplies with ease.

Weight/Bulk

The Carryall has an average weight of 1.4 lbs and is similar in size to much of the competition. However, it only holds a 13-15-inch laptop without a case or sleeve. Laptops and tablets also slid into the side pocket and aren't as well protected as some of the competition. The bag is fairly large and will get heavy if filled.

The side pocket on the Carryall is where you'll stow your laptop or tablet but it only has a Velcro closure.

Features

The Carryall has external pocket storage and a few inside pockets to keep your supplies organized. The side pockets open to the main space and we'd prefer it be separated from the main bag to keep the pump secluded. However, the space is large enough for bigger pumps and other accessories and you can operate the pump inside the bag. The outside pocket holds tablets or a small laptop and the internal pockets can hold a baby bottle or personal items.

The crossbody/shoulder strap is adjustable but not padded which would make it more comfortable when the bag is full and heavier.
The shoulder straps on the Carryall are wide and unpadded.

This bag has a shoulder strap and carry handles, which would be nicer if they had padding or friendlier fabric.

While the top of the Carryall zippers closed it still leaves the ends somewhat open for items to fall out.

Style

This bag has a straightforward style that is simple and somewhat minimalistic. It is a single color with no patterns or bling. This bag has a casual style that could also look at home with business attire thanks to an understated design that doesn't demand center stage. The basic design also indicates that it will work well as a diaper bag or personal bag when your pumping days are over.
