Our Analysis and Test Results
Ju-Ju-Be is a company founded in 2005 by Joe Croft and Kristin Hunziker. Based in Costa Mesa, California, Ju-Ju-Be provides fashionable, high-quality bags and accessories for moms and dads. We are impressed with the extensive range of chic and modern style bags they offer.
Ease of Use
This bag is super easy to use. Ju-Ju-Be has put a lot of thought into the organization of their bags, as there seems to be a spot for everything. We were able to easily fit all of our necessary pumping supplies in the bag, along with a laptop, personal gear, and water bottle, all contained in a neat and organized manner. The side compartment provides easy access to your pump, and we were able to fit multiple size and shape pumps inside without a hassle, including the larger Spectra pumps.
Quality is another area where the Be Supplied outshines much of the competition. The durable material feels like it will last for years, making this a bag that can potentially go beyond your pumping days to transition to a diaper bag, purse, or work bag. We love everything from the stylish patterns to the gold hardware and easy to use zippers.
While the bag is not the lightest option in the review, it is still fairly light at 1.9 lbs. This weight is a result of the Be Supplied being on the smaller end of the size spectrum. Still, we are impressed with how lightweight and durable the material is.
Many features enhance the overall experience with this bag. For starters, Teflon™ fabric protector is applied to the bag to make it water-resistant, so it is super easy to quickly clean after a spill. It can also go in the washing machine for a deeper clean! Another great feature is the Agion® treatment that safeguards the inside liner by hindering "the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew." It also has a memory foam padded messenger strap, a well-organized mommy pocket with key bungee, and luggage feet to keep it off the floor. We feel the bag has almost everything you need, except for an insulated pocket for milk storage. You could purchase the Ju-Ju-Be Be Equipped, which includes a small cooler, wet bag, and storage bag to fill this obvious gap.
The Be Supplied is modern and chic; with multiple patterns and different color options to choose from, we think you will easily be able to find something that goes with your style. We appreciate how a good sense of style makes this bag very discreet as it doesn't scream, "I have to go milk myself!" to the world as some bags might.
