New Version Update — Sept 2015
The Changing Station has been updated and is now called the Oeuf Changing Tray.
The two products are quite similar in functionality, the main difference being that the older Changing Station attaches to any Oeuf crib and the new Changing Tray attaches only to Oeuf dressers instead. The same pad is used in both, so most comfort features should be exactly the same between the two. The Changing Tray beats out the station in terms of price, retailing at $220.
Available in Birch, Walnut and White, the Oeuf changing station is a space-saving delight that holds up to 50 lbs. It fits atop all Oeuf cribs, like our favorite Sparrow Crib, and the manufacturer claims it can be used on many other fixed-rail standard sized cribs. At this positioning, you can comfortably change baby at his/her feet from an accessible height while maintaining eye contact. Two straps - one for baby and another one that attaches the station to the crib - make you and baby feel secure, and are in line with all US, Canadian, Australian and European safety standards. The wood is sustainably made out of solid birch with a Baltic birch plywood base, finished with non-toxic-water-based VOC-free materials.
This changing station includes an eco-friendly pad (a $48 value if you had to buy it separately) manufactured by Colgate that fits with all Oeuf dressers and changing stations. Constructed with renewable plant-based foam, a very steady support board and wetproof cloth covering, the pad is contoured to hold baby snuggly.
We adore the simple, intelligent and modern design that Oeuf is well-known for, and their partnering with Colgate for their changing pad is a great bonus. (See the Colgate Eco Classica III—Organic Cotton Dual Zone for one of our favorite crib mattresses.)
