The 11-pound Lotus Travel Crib (including crib, mattress and bag) can go everywhere with you and your newborn baby to 3 year-old. Designed to set up in 15 seconds, this stylish and modern crib fits in a lightweight backpack (included with purchase), a unique feature that separates it from all other competitors. The backpack even qualifies as an airline carry-on. Free of phthalates, lead, PBE or PBDE flame retardants, this crib is made of machine washable materials and breathable mesh that extends to the mattress, allowing baby access to full airflow and an unobstructed view, even when the top or side is zipped up.

The cotton fitted sheet and plush quilted sheet sold separately. A bassinet attachment should be available this summer (2013).

One thing we like about this crib is the side-door. This allows a Mom to open the side-door, and nurse baby in the crib, then roll out after feeding. This eliminates the need to place baby in the crib after feeding (which often involves startling a soothed baby).

The most commonly cited likes for this product are:
  • Super easy to fold up and travel with
  • A brilliant design
  • Great for older toddlers with its taller shape

User reviews frequently note these disadvantages:
  • None
